A coming back after 2 years!
After more than a year, driven by COVID and working from home, our employees are starting to come back to work. In that occasion, we’re happy to be putting on a Safety Week for 2021, which will run from September 20 to 26, 2021.
Our Safety week is a global internal event, organized by our HSE team, on each sites. A week dedicated to give awareness around health and safety at work to all our employees.
Workshops and activities on the subject of safety will be presented during the week. The program will revolve around 2 topics common to all sites. This year, the topics will be first-aid training and the use of fire extinguishing equipment.
Each site will also complement workshops with activities that address safety issues at that site.
Just to give a few examples, the Neuenberg plant is organizing a demonstration on how to operate forklift trucks, the Buffalo Groove site will demonstrate the proper manual handling of objects, Verpillière site activities will focus on shared vigilance, the Tréport site will put on a demo on ergonomics at the workplace and the Szczecin site will show how to prevent noise-related losses.
The goal of that day will be to bring together teams to show them how to prevent workplace accident risks, but in such a way that everyone has fun and has a part to play. It’ll also be a very welcome time where employees can come together in a spirit of friendship.
